Classes

Classes are offered at our new facility at 5121 Staley Road in Fort Myers, Florida.   Classes are offered three days a week at the present.  The class days are Thursday afternoon (3 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and Wednesday and Saturday morning (9a.m. to 12 noon).  The sessions last for six weeks and continue year-round except for the month of August,  during the summer.

Anyone interested in riding instruction with Special Equestrians must complete a rider's packet.  This packet includes information forms, emergency medical treatment forms, and medical evaluation forms.  Before a rider begins the program, the prospective client is evaluated by our riding instructor.

The service fee for a six week lesson session is $72.  Full and partial scholarships are available to our clients.  Anyone interested in signing up for classes should call the office at 239-226-1221, contact us through our email , or come by the program to visit and observe.

Our class schedule for 2008-2009 can be downloaded here.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download.
