Our Instructor

Our Special Equestrians Registered Instructor is Dee Hollander.  Dee  has been involved with Special Equestrians since it’s beginning in 1987.  We are delighted to have her as  our riding instructor.  She is an accomplished horseperson and rider herself, and she has contributed her time to all aspects of our program.  Dee evaluates new students when they apply to the program.  Dee places students in classes with  other students according to their special needs.

She is thrilled with the accomplishments of her students.  Some of students reach goals as simple as sitting on a horse while they walk around the arena with sidewalkers.  Other advanced students have participated in a special class at one of our local dressage horse shows.  Dee's philosophy is that everyone can reach a goal in riding, whether it is big or small.  Every new skill learned is an exciting moment for all of us at Special Equestrians.
